What is it?

BIAB, or Builder in a Bottle, is a builder gel applied directly to the natural nail. It is stronger and thicker than regular gel polish, making it a popular choice for clients who want stronger natural nails without traditional extensions. BIAB can be finished naturally or combined with colour, French or nail art.

Who is it for?

BIAB is ideal if you want to strengthen your natural nails, protect nails that are prone to breaking or maintain a clean and natural-looking manicure. It is especially suitable if you prefer your own natural nail length.

What to expect

Your appointment begins with careful preparation of the natural nails and cuticles. Shevone then applies and shapes the BIAB to create an even and balanced finish before curing it under a professional nail lamp. Your chosen colour, French design or nail art can then be added.

Maintenance

As your natural nails grow, a BIAB fill can be used to maintain an existing set. The grown-out area is carefully prepared and new BIAB is applied where needed to restore the structure and keep the nails looking neat. Your preferred finish, such as manicure, Gellak or French, can be selected with the appropriate fill treatment above.

Aftercare

Keep your nails and cuticles moisturised with cuticle oil and avoid using your nails as tools. Wear gloves during prolonged cleaning or contact with water and cleaning products. Never pick or peel the BIAB yourself, as this can damage the natural nail. When your BIAB needs maintenance or removal, book a professional appointment.
